Then we presented this team with a very simple goal. We challenged them to 'redefine the possible' and design and produce the very best affordable loudspeakers the world has ever known.

We are completely confident the Q Acoustics Design team has achieved this monumental objective and the new '1000i Series' loudspeakers represent unequalled sonic performance in their class.

How did they attain this astonishing result? The answer is a combination of brilliant design and the freedom to implement that design to maximise sonic performance. They were never forced to compromise their ideas by using 'off the shelf' solutions. Every part of the new speakers is bespoke, optimised specifically for each new model. The tweeters, bass/midrange drivers, magnets, cone material, crossovers, terminal panel and fully braced cabinets are all designed with the sole purpose of creating the very best performing loudspeakers.

In 2007, we tasked the Q Acoustics design team with another seemingly impossible goal.

This time we wanted a world-beating ‘Style’ home cinema speaker package; one which delivered a truly outstanding, all enveloping, home cinema and music experience, but which didn’t intrude into the living space. Naturally, like all Q Acoustics models, it should also be extraordinarily affordable.
