The Weibel Lift is manufactured in Switzerland, where it has been successfully sold and installed for six years into both the commercial and domestic Home Cinema markets. Designed by Hans Weibel, owner of Weibel AV, the lift was made by an installer for installers. The lift works on a chain drive mechanism, which controls four spindles. This makes the mechanics very quiet, more reliable and far more accurate than the more common scissor lift.
