Bristol Sound & Vision Show Celebrates its
21st Birthday in style

The annual Bristol Sound & Vision show was once again a phenomenal success - and marked the 21st anniversary of this fantastic, three day event which continues to draw consumers from all over the South West.

As such, this was the perfect setting for the full public launch of the new revolutionary Q-AV 'style' home cinema package from Q Acoustics. The Q-AV system features brilliant design that allows it to 'disappear' in your living space, and offers an exceptional performance to rival conventional home cinema systems. Throughout the show the room was packed with consumers, eager to see it for themselves and enjoy a full demonstration from Steve Reichert, who's dedication and enthusiasm for the product ensured the crowds left knowledgeable, and clearly impressed by the magnificent product.

NAD had many of its class-leading products on display and launched the new, NAD VISO 5 All in One Surround Sound Receiver to the public. This was by far the most popular product on display, with consumers and trade alike singing its praises, not just for the extensive specification, but also staggered by the jaw-droppingly sleek aesthetics. This is certain to be another winner from NAD.

QED was in its traditional Bay 1 location and was crowded for the duration, with customers keen to see the new QED Performance range of cables. QED speaker cables including the award winning, Silver Anniversary XT were also incredibly popular, largely due to the skill and perfection of Linda Oles and the Custom Cable service, working flat-out for three days to cope with the demand, guaranteeing no one left disappointed.

An impressive and impactful display incorporating Audica, Goldring and Grado was busy from the outset. Queues formed with consumers desperate to give their ears a real audio treat - listening to the Grado GS1000s, SR60s and iGrados plus the Goldring NS1000 Active Noise Reduction headphones and the GX200 in-ear phones. Last, but by no means least, the stunning CX range from Audica wowed consumers with its luxurious high-gloss finish and new GEO-X stand which perfectly integrates the CX-Subwoofer, with superb results.

UPDATE - Q Acoustics Q-AV has received a fantastic FIVE STAR 'First Test' review in the April 2008 edition of What Hi-Fi? Click here for more information.
