Armour Home Wins Six (Yes really, six!) What Hi-Fi? Awards
(and there’s a cracking new Product Guide on your
doormat)
This year’s guest presenter was TV impressionist Jon Culshaw, who jointly presented the awards with the magazine’s editor Clare Newsome. Also pictured, collecting the ‘Product of the Year’ award is Armour Home’s MD Glenn McClelland.
The official start to each new selling season is not when the clocks go back and the nights draw in. No, without doubt the season kicks off with the publication of the ‘Awards’ editions of the industry’s leading consumer magazines.
With their awards, the magazines publicly proclaim the industry’s outstanding new products. Not surprisingly, such public declarations as to the excellence of your products by respected and independent magazines, has considerable commercial value and the fortunate recipients can expect a healthy boost to their sales.
Unquestionably, the most glamorous and high-profile awards ceremony is that conducted by ‘What Hi-Fi?’ magazine. This year’s event was held at the Dorchester in London’s Park Lane and the guest presenter was the impressionist Jon Culshaw, who co-hosted the evening with What Hi-Fi’s Editor, Clare Newsome.
You will therefore understand both our pride and delight when we inform you that Armour’s products have received an amazing six prestigious What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Awards. Our 2007 winners are as follows:
| Cables Product of the Year | QED Silver Anniversary XT |
| Best Digital Audio Cable | QED Performance Digital Audio |
| Best Speaker Package under £750 | Q Acoustics 1010i 5.1 package |
| Best Hi-Fi Headphones | Grado SR60 |
| Best Portable Headphones | Grado iGrado |

We have of course, already received large numbers of orders for the award winners, above the upturn we expect at this time of year across our whole product portfolio. It’s early days and we’re experienced enough never to take anything for granted, but for Armour the season is off to an excellent start.
