Comfort, fit and isolation from outside noise is assured because the GX200 is supplied with patented ‘Comply’TM ear canal tips, as worn by all US military helicopter pilots. Made from a special ‘memory’ foam, three times softer than skin, they expand within the ear canal to create an ultra comfortable seal and provide unprecedented levels of external noise reduction, often better than -42db. The ‘Comply’™ screw locking system ensures the tips are securely mounted to the earphones and cannot come off in the ear. For users who may find the level of sonic isolation provided by the ‘Comply’TM tips disconcerting, small, medium and large pairs of conventional silicone ear-buds are also provided.
The Goldring GX200 ear phones boast zinc alloy bodies encasing advanced 9mm drive units with neodymium magnets and titanium film diaphragms. They produce an astonishing in-ear frequency response of 20Hz to 20KHz, far better than most loudspeakers!
