NAD and PSB announce a UK Partnership with Armour Electronics

Lenbrook Corp. of Toronto, Canada is pleased to announce the signing of a Partnership with Armour Home Electronics (AHE) – the UK’s leading supplier of hi-fi and home cinema electronics. AHE will be appointed the exclusive distributor of the world-renowned NAD electronics and PSB speaker brands in the United Kingdom.

Armour will assume responsibility for sales, marketing, warehousing, and servicing operations from its sites in Bishops Stortford and Woking from 1st March 2007. The NAD and PSB ranges will continue to be exclusively available from selected dealers and installers, who will be supported by the 45 strong Armour/Alphason sales force. Armour also plans to recruit more staff early in 2007 to further enhance its levels of service and support.

Customers old and new will be pleased to know Rob Hunt (Lenbrook UK) will join Armour as Electronics Product Manager. Rob, together with the teams at Lenbrook/AHE, will be working alongside the dealers to ensure continued growth and continuity for the NAD & PSB programs in the UK.

Commenting on the decision to appoint Armour, Gordon Simmonds (President and CEO of Lenbrook International) said “Partnering with Armour and benefiting from their clear record of success made the tough decision of moving from our own distribution subsidiary much easier. We recognised Armour’s established reach into precisely those distribution channels where dealers will identify NAD and PSB as strong specialty brands which they can depend on and use to build their future. This appointment is expected to begin a developing alliance between the Lenbrook organisation and the Armour Group in a number of areas, with both parties anticipating a long and successful future.”

Lenbrook UK’s MD Neil Wilson will return full time to his International sales and marketing position with NAD and PSB headquartered in Canada. He commented “Rob Hunt and I are excited about what the partnership with Armour will mean to the success of our brands and the support for the 250 dedicated UK dealers. Both the brands are well positioned and the market is ready for Armour’s business model which is perfectly positioned to take them to new levels.

AHE’s Managing Director, Glenn McClelland, went on to say “We have really enjoyed working with Lenbrook to establish NAD into the custom install market. Now with total responsibility for both brands and in all channels, we expect to see rapid growth with NAD & PSB as we dedicate our full resources to this project. The recent opening of our new showrooms and training suite at Bishops Stortford means we now have the industry’s best dealer support facilities. In addition, we are building a similar training and showroom resource at our Manchester site during 2007. We intend to make NAD and PSB the natural choice of specialty dealers and installers”
