Myryad 'Mi' - The emotion starts before the music.

Myryad is pleased to introduce the next generation of integrated hi-fidelity, the all new Myriad 'Mi' (Music integrated)

Myryad is a brand of Armour Home. Fully digital signal processing allows digital audio sources, such as the Mi's built-in CD player and DAB radio, to be processed and amplified entirely in the digital domain, without introducing the distortions associated with conversion and analogue processing. Even conventional analogue signals, such as FM radio, are transformed to digital to optimise performance.

Myryad's feature rich iPod interface provides truly unprecedented levels of system integration. The Mi utilises data from the iPod to generate menus on its full colour display screen. These familiar menus mirror those seen on the iPod, and thanks to dynamic text sizing, can be easily read from across the room, allowing convenient armchair selection of artists, albums, songs, playlists, podcasts and musical genres.

The Mi's crystal clear DAB radio performance is further evidence of the success of the 'Totally Digital' design concept, which also provides for DAB Live Text to be displayed on the screen. Naturally, high quality FM broadcasts can also be enjoyed, complete with RDS information where available. An alternative, AM/FM version of the Mi is available in areas of the world where DAB broadcasts cannot be received.

For the technical, the powerful Class-D digital stereo amplifier delivers 100 Watts per channel into 4O. The speakers are driven by a 384 kHz pulse width modulated (PWM) signal generated from 48 kHz sampling. To optimise performance, tone control and equalisation are also entirely in the digital domain.

Epitomising both form and function, the high quality, 3.5" full colour display is complemented by illuminated, touch sensitive buttons. Together they preserve the Mi's sleek styling, provide unprecedented levels of information and allow simple fingertip control. The ensemble is completed by a luxury, extruded aluminium remote control.

The Myryad BluePlay receiver can be used with the Mi to receive high quality music streams via Bluetooth from an 'A2DP' compliant MP3 player; for example playing MP3 files from an 'A2DP' Bluetooth equipped music phone.

The BluePlay simply plugs into the rear panel of the Mi and connects automatically with available devices.
