We take you step by step in using AutoCAD (computer aided design) for your business. The course focuses on the custom installation business and gives you all the commands in the program you will use. You will draw a plan from scratch as well as take an architects multi layered plan and use it for your own wiring schematic, removing all other unwanted information.
Have to ability to use CAD drawings from architects and add your own wiring schematics to the plan. Issue professional drawings to your clients, architects and electrical contractors. Charge for your time producing professional drawings. Keep an accurate record of changes and revisions. Email drawings for time and convenience.
Ability to use AutoCAD for all your drawing needs. Interpret Architects CAD drawings and amend them for your own use.
Familiarity of PCs and windows is essential but no other specific knowledge is required, however an understanding of Custom Installation would be beneficial.
